Corrections

•  All references to 'Linux' should read 'GNU/Linux' - to give equal gredit to the GNU people in the creation of this system.
• Page 109, the date of the film 'Fighting Women II' should be 2002.
  
• Appendix I (pages 169-176) is missing the endnote numbers in the text. These should be:

PAN OF PUB (4)

Camera pans across the put, where we see Neil sitting at a table. The pub is a squalid dive, and Neil is sitting there a small table with half a pint of flat lager in front of him and a fag smoking in the ash tray. He looks confused and disorientated. The duke box in the corner hums an Elvis tune quietly ‘Love me tender’ in the background. (5)

02. INT. PUBLIC HOUSE – EARLY EVENING

MEDIUM SHOT OF DOOR

A man comes in, mid-twenties in black jeans, black puffa jacket, flash trainers and Sovereign rings and gelled black hair.

03. INT. PUBLIC HOUSE – EARLY EVENING

LOW ANGLE TRACKING SHOT

He walks over to Neil, across the grotty floor of the pub. The camera then moves up to end the shot from over this man's shoulder. He taps Neil on the shoulder and begins talking to him.

MAN (6)

                                Ok? (7)

MAN
(Speaks louder this time) (8)

                                OK?

NEIL

                                Huh?

MAN

                                You ok mate?

NEIL

                                Yeah. I’m ok.

The man turns and leaves the pub.
